A foundation of excellence
CATHEXISDynamics was established in 2012 as an offshoot of CATHEXIS Technologies, a software development company with over 25 years of leadership in delivering video management solutions to the global market.
Leveraging its IP, and software and hardware expertise, CATHEXIS turned to manufacturing a mobile video recorder (MVR) solution to meet the security and operational needs of fleet management.
The mission of CATHEXISDynamics is to deliver robust, cost-effective in-vehicle driver monitoring systems, to help fleet owners to reduce accidents, improve driver behaviour, and lower operational costs.
Evidence-based innovation
The success of CATHEXISDynamics rests on the expertise and excellence invested at every stage of the product lifecycle. Most R&D takes place at the company’s head office in Durban, South Africa, while manufacturing and support are based at our Centurion factory in Gauteng.
The flagship MVR product has consistently evolved to address customer requirements and incorporate the latest technological developments, including advanced AI-powered analytics which provide accurate insight into behavioural and driving patterns.
Trusted worldwide
CATHEXISDynamics has sold tens of thousands of MVRs to international tracking companies. Our products stand the test of time, with many devices still in service after several years.
The current iteration of the MVR is a camera device with AI capabilities and an easy-to-use API that supports custom integration for tailored solutions
